Milestone sessions are a fun way to celebrate birthdays or developmental moments. Many families start with a newborn photography session and continue with an annual family photo shoot somewhere in beautiful Central Oregon to capture every stage.

Milestone sessions come in two simple options: keep the focus on the star of the show with a Milestone Session, or turn it into a Milestone + Family Session by adding a mini family photoshoot for some sweet moments together. This is the perfect opportunity to get a family photo session at a great add-on price!

A Milestone + Family Session not only documents your child’s big day, but it also includes your family and how everyone has grown and changed over the past year.
We’ll photograph the whole family outside on the property in Redmond, Oregon, (or in the photo studio if you prefer) to capture beautiful family moments together, then head into the studio for a dedicated studio session just for your little one.
These sessions include a large gallery of images, and a mix of outdoor and studio shots, giving you a large and varied gallery to treasure.
A Milestone + Family Photo Session takes 1.5 to 2 hours and incudes a large gallery - 75+ photos - and is $550
Milestone Sessions are all about your superstar! Whether that’s a baby milestone, toddling around, or your child starting Kindergarten or college!
Milestone sessions last about an hour and you can choose between outdoors on our Redmond property, or a session in my Redmond photo studio.
If your milestone is a 1st birthday (or half birthday), bring a cake! It’s so fun!
A Milestone Photo Session takes about an hour, includes 40-50 photos, and is $350.
Bring a cake for your baby’s 1st birthday photo session (or half birthday session) for your baby to smash! It’s always so fun to see what they do!
I recommend a small, round cake about 4” in diameter and 6” tall, but a simple cupcake works perfectly too!

Well … any of them! Most people photograph their babies at least 6 months and One Year (the cake smash is awesome). Many people like to do annual personality portraits after that - photos that show your kiddo dancing, playing with their favorite toys, laughing … showing off who they are!

I have a child’s client closet that you’re welcome to borrow from! I welcome clients to bring a couple outfits, so we get a great variety of photos in your gallery. I have also created an Amazon list that is in linked in my session prep guide to give you some inspiration and ideas for outfits that photograph beautifully.

No worries! There are lots of adorable poses with baby on tummy, on back, rolling around, playing with toes, etc. I also have many props that I use for milestone sessions that baby can sit in with posing beans for support (not visible in the photo, of course).

Of course! I have a baby only package, and one that includes parents too. This is a great time to squeeze in a family session for a great price!
